More than a DNS redirect

A forwarding path you can operate with confidence.

Basic forwarding is invisible when it works and frustrating when it fails. MailerZ adds the controls needed for business use.

Original sender preserved

The visible Header From stays unchanged, so your inbox shows the real person who wrote to you.

Forwarding-safe envelope

SRS rewrites the SMTP envelope for forwarding and bounce handling without impersonating the visible sender.

Stored before acceptance

MailerZ secures the incoming message before returning SMTP 250 to the sending server.

Delivery-hop records

See acceptance, storage, routing attempts, destination responses, holds, and failures.

Purpose-built addresses

Create role addresses such as hello@, support@, billing@, or named aliases without buying a mailbox seat for each.

Multiple destinations

Send the right address to the inbox or people who should receive it while keeping the public address stable.

A clear product boundary

Forwarding is powerful when its job is clear.

MailerZ is the delivery layer around your existing inbox. It is deliberately not a replacement for every category of email software.

What is custom-domain email forwarding?

Custom-domain email forwarding is inbound MX for a domain you control. Sending servers look up MX records (RFC 5321) and deliver mail for hello@yourdomain to MailerZ. MailerZ rewrites only envelope MAIL FROM with SRS, then forwards the message to Gmail, Outlook, or another inbox. Header From stays the original sender so DKIM and DMARC alignment on that header are not broken by a rewritten visible address.

What is leftover MX?

Leftover MX is an old Google, Microsoft, or host MX record still published next to MailerZ. Sending servers may split mail across both targets. Treat leftover MX as a hard stop until the obsolete records are deleted at cutover.

Why can emailing yourself fail in Gmail?

Gmail can short-circuit a message sent from an account to itself. That is a client-side test failure, not proof that MailerZ forwarding is down. Probe from a different mailbox, then inspect delivery history.

Why does some forwarded mail still go to spam?

Destination providers decide inbox versus spam. Preserving Header From avoids one common authentication break. SPF (RFC 7208), DKIM, DMARC, content, and sender reputation still apply after the forward hop.
