MailerZ is not a cold-email list broker or an unrestricted bulk-marketing platform. Customers remain legally responsible for every message sent through their account, including messages sent by employees, contractors, applications, and customers.
Permission and lawful basis
Send commercial or marketing email only to recipients you are legally permitted to contact. Depending on the recipient and jurisdiction, this may require prior consent, an existing customer relationship, or another documented lawful basis. Keep evidence showing when, where, and how permission was obtained.
Prohibited list practices
- Purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, guessed, appended, or third-party lists without verifiable permission.
- Sending to addresses collected for an unrelated purpose without proper notice or legal basis.
- Re-adding unsubscribed, complained, invalid, or suppressed recipients without a documented lawful reason.
- Using MailerZ to test the deliverability of unknown lists or identify spam traps.
Message requirements
- Use accurate From, Reply-To, domain, routing, and subject information.
- Clearly identify the responsible sender and the commercial nature of a message where required.
- Include a valid physical or legal business address when applicable law requires it.
- Provide a clear, functional, and reasonably prominent opt-out method for marketing messages.
- Do not disguise promotional content as transactional or relationship email.
Unsubscribe and suppression
Honor unsubscribe and objection requests promptly and within the legal deadline that applies to the recipient. Maintain suppression records so removed recipients are not re-imported or contacted by another user, list, integration, or campaign. Transactional messages must be limited to the transaction or service purpose that justifies them.
List quality and monitoring
- Remove hard bounces and repeatedly failing addresses.
- Monitor complaints, bounce rates, blocks, and provider feedback.
- Pause sending when consent, identity, list source, or deliverability is uncertain.
- Secure forms and integrations against list bombing, injection, and unauthorized sending.
Enforcement
MailerZ may reject, throttle, hold, or suspend sending; require permission records; reset credentials; or terminate accounts that create spam, complaint, blocklist, legal, or reputation risk. Paying for a plan does not create a right to send abusive or non-compliant email.
